Engagement Session - Joe & Katie

 

Joe and Katie met at school. On their one year dating anniversary, Joe took Katie to South Haven Beach and pulled out a ring, quickly clarifying that it was an anniversary ring, not an engagement ring. About a year later, on the same beach, he proposed for real. My favorite part about their love story was when Joe shared about his concerns for finding the perfect proposal spot. He didn’t want any of the cliche South Haven proposal spots, he didn’t want a big crowd of people watching, he wanted to propose in a way that was special to them.

I loved experiencing Joe and Katie’s uniquely-them relationship and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next month.
