I’m Alli.
Visual storyteller for couples in love. I specialize in photography for Intimate Weddings and Elopements in Michigan as well as destination locations. My photography style leans more documentary. I love to give invisible direction and tell a story in a vintage and nostalgic, warm and romantic type of way.
Let me start off by saying,

This here is my passion.
I live for capturing the big moments, and the little in-between moments, and really documenting the story of your love. I’m a “noticer-of-small-details”, little moments, the ones that easily get missed or overlooked.
With a growing family, I only take a limited amount of elopements, intimate weddings, and couples sessions a year. This allows me to pour all of my passion and creativity into the bookings I do take.

I’ve photographed hundreds of couples in my 8 years of full time photography.

I hear “we’re so awkward in photos” A LOT; and while every new couple I meet and photograph is unique, I have yet to meet a couple that sticks by that statement after working with me. I strive to create a unique and comfortable photo experience for you.

My passion for documenting life in an authentic way began when we found mold in our home.

We had to get rid of our belongings and move to recover our health. But in the months prior to our discovery, we had done a documentary photo session in our home. I TREASURE those photos now. Photos of us just living life in the home we love and miss. I had been doing photography for 6 years already at that time, but this experience inspired my switch to create experiences for my clients and document the real moments instead of posing.
Because in the end, pretty poses just don’t compete with real life.

I pretty much always have a camera and a latte in each hand.

Along with “Photographer”, my titles include wife, mama, antique hunter, amateur playlist creator, and follower of Jesus. Photography is a way to worship the Creator for me. I’m always on the search for new adventures, new coffee shops, and new love stories to tell.
